RE:START21 - Global Ambitions

About the conference

While the global COVID 19 crisis shows that the world has crossed the threshold to a new era, politics persists in old familiar patterns and structures. Questions of education, digital transformation and globalization require global answers. New moon shot projects are needed instead of incremental progress.

Overnight, many things became possible that were unthinkable before. The same mindset must find its way into politics: We need to see the crisis as an opportunity. We believe in the courage to break new ground. We shape digitalization and globalization with creativity and openness. We must invest in new goals and not in old structures.

There is a window of opportunity that must be used during the next few years. Especially in the areas of education, digital transformation, security and globalization, international liberal solutions must be found to preserve prosperity, end poverty and open up opportunities for participation and self-fulfillment. For these solutions will be decisive in determining how we manage the future and whether Europe will be the playmaker or the pawn of international politics. Register now for your participation.
